Hi, our names are Kristen and Kurt! We together are the cooks, writers, and creators behind The Gluten-Free Cookhouse.
We started The Gluten-Free Cookhouse in 2024 simply because we love cooking! In 2023 we found out our youngest daughter had Celiac Disease. As heartbreaking as that was to find out, we knew we would overcome it and find ways to still make yummy food.

Kurt serves as the primary chef and recipe developer at The Gluten-Free Cookhouse! Infusing each dish with his immense passion for culinary creation and dedication to crafting from-scratch delicacies. He is the creative force behind the mouthwatering recipes that define the essence of the Cookhouse's offerings.
When Kurt isn't working for The Gluten-Free Cookhouse you will find him either in the gym lifting, or working over at The_Kurtlocker on Instagram.
Kurt is currently getting his MS in Exercise Science and coming up on his retirement in the Air Force as an EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Technichial of 20 years.
